Situation in Brisbane's getting worse, worrying max.
Friends have their things soaked in the flood, while they're here in Sg.
Imagine how that feels, when you know you can't do anything about it.
Depressing aye :(
thank goodness mine's pretty safe at uncle's place!
Just a tad bit worried bout the car, hopefully it stays safe.

Was talking to Ler Hern just now.
I thought it'll probably take about 2 months for things to be back to usual, apparently he told me the news said 2 years.
TWO FREAKING YEARS? :( :( :( omg.
Brisbane's gonna be sucha sad sad city now.
Sssssigh.

Come to think of it, i survived two natural disasters.
The semester before i went there, there was sand storm.
Now its the flood.
Guess i'm lucky, & thank God for that definitely (:

alrightys, that said, hopefully everything and everyone's fine.
Guess they're all gonna dread going back to clear up the place!

THE WORLD IS TOO SMALL.

I FOUND OUT 3 OMGXZ THINGS IN A DAY.

1. Spotted this photo on Newsfeed that tells me: TANYUNRU & JOANNECHEN ARE FRIENDS. One i knew from my secondary school friend, the other i know from TP.

2. J messaged me in fb saying I KNOW HER SISTER. Who used to be in the same SU camp group as me in TP. OMG I WOULD NEVER THINK THEY'RE SISTERS. SERIOUSLY.

3. Housemate came running into my room shouting: OMG JESLYN YOU KNOW ____?!?! He's my friend's friend's bf!

All in less than half an hour. O.M.G.

missing the world.

Feels like i've been detached from the rest of the world for sooooo long.
So in the 2 months i've been back here, i've

shifted house

Or maybe its just that i've got too many clothes for my own good =/ Ahaha.

explored montville, a pretty little town

went for Ekka! One of the bigger events in Australia. Carnival rides, farm animals, monster trucks, freestyle motorcross, monster trucks & fireworks! Plus, their Strawberry Sundaes & Dagwood dogs, OMGGGGG THE BEST FOOD EVER.

So that's about all, apart from all that studying, quizzes & tutorials.
Now it's spring break. Everyone's out to play, while i'm slogging my ass with assignments!
Had my fair share of fun, now its time to catch uppppppp!

& with all that, i've been feeling as though i haven't been in contact with everyone for so so long.
I haven't replied a few texts, emails & probably neglected the people close to my heart.
Well now, here i am! :D

1 PAPER DOWNNN! :D :D :D :D :D

Sat for my first final exam in UQ today.
I was sooo nervous! Ahahahaha.
but it actually turned out pretty okay (:

& thanks for all that encouragement & well wishes guys!
Really meant alot.
Every time someone says GOOD LUCK! or YOU CAN DO ITTTT (: (:
i really feel a bit more relieved & like, yayyy! so much lighter.

2nd paper tomorrow.
I'm more nervous for this one cos im only half prepared for it.
Sooo.. pray hard!

Haven't had a proper meal for the past few days.
& its 7pm. I JUST HAD MY FIRST PROPER MEAL =( =(
ahahhaa owell. After tomorrrrow, i'll be left with 1!

12 MORE DAYS TO GOING BACK. I CAN'T WAITTTTTT :D

I LOVE EXAMS.

Im seriously starting to panic =(
Crazily stressed cos Wed & Thurs are my papers already.
& it feels like i'm not fully prepared for it at all.
Its my first exam here, so I'm nervous, and stressed.
I dont know the standards here, but i always hear that people usually do really well.
Plus my friends around me, they're all such smart pigs! RAR.
I feel really pressureddddddddd =/
but then again, the pressure's good.
I really need it cos otherwise i wont have any motivation at all.
HAA.

OKAY, RANT POST DONE.

A RETARDED WEEK.

Within 4 days, i've had a few interesting incidences alr!

FRIDAY, I was walking home with Christine.
Till I reached the carpark, i said bye to her.
Then i walked in the carpark, wondering where did i actually park.
& realised i was parked at my friend's visitor lots instead!
Which was where Christine was heading to.
So i ended up walking out of the carpark, & walking afew steps behind her. TSKKK.
RETARDDEEED.

Now SATURDAY! I WENT FOR A RUN NEAR MY ESTATE & GOT LOST!

Draggedddddd my lazy ass ass out of the house for a run.
Decided to run to the lake some distance away.
& YESSSSSSS, i found it! :D
But i refused to backtrack cos i thought i could cross over and still return home.
So i ran, & ran, & ran somemore..
Until i came out to a main road which i recognised the road name but i didnt know if i should go right or left!
Tried the left,
ran a distance,
till i realised i really didnt know where i was heading.
So i saw people outside their house across the road & I rann over!
The guy took out a street directory & we were figuring out the way tgt!
The sky was already turning dark by then.
Plus, im short sighted.
Which means i had to run up to the signboards before i can read the street names!
DAMN RETARDEEDDDDDDDD.
but yeah, i got home eventually! :D :D :D WHEEE.
The good thing is, i ran more than twice i usually would! HA.

That was 1.
NEXT.

I WORE MY HOME SLIPPERS TO UNI TODAY.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH OMGXZXZ.
I only realised it when i was walking to uni & i was thinking why did my feet kinda hurttttt.
THEN I LOOKED DOWN AND I COULDNT STOP LAUGHING AT MYSELF.
My friend thought i was crazy for laughing hysterically.
HA.
Thank goodness it was only for 2 hours! =/
Ahhh.

LASTLY (YAY), i nearly banged into the lamp post while walking cos I was texting today! HA.

Time i head back to work now.
1 presentation tomorrow, 2 assignments due on Thursday.
One's 30%, the other's 50! OH MYYYYY =/

Today's weather was perfect.
Not cold, but coool; with a slight drizzle.
& I was all snuggled in a warm wool sweater, enjoying the walk under that drizzle.

reminiscing the best times.

When i came overseas, i missed D&D, then FO, & few days back it was graduation, campaigning, and finally election results today.
Brings back memories on everything that's happened since 4 years back.
I never thought about this day, where the juniors graduate, & new people are going into TP.
Soon i'll walk in school not knowing anyone anymore! :(
but yeah, the cool thing is, we're still all together in the alumni family.
& even though it's been a year, we're all still so attached to TP.
I really hope it'll stay this way for a long long time.
As least, the friendships will.

Since last Friday, I've been camping in my room or the library to finish 2 essays & study for Financial Mgt test.
the only time i'm out of that shell, is when its time to EAT! or sleep. HAHAHA.

but yeah, i must say im sooo amazed w myself :D
considering i've never used to done much work!
Or i'd usually get distracted real easily.
BUTTTTTTTTT.. for the past few days. I've been off msn, facebook & whatever other websitesss :D :D
